Comments:May be useful during treatment with benzoate, and phenylacetate or phenylbutyrate.

Sample Requirements:Plasma, ≥2 mL (minimum 1.0 mL) from heparinized blood (green top tube) supernatant from clinical centrifugation (within 20 minutes) promptly frozen, shipped frozen (packed w/ dry ice).
Turnaround time:Routine: 5-7 working days.
