UCSD Biochemical Genetics and Metabolomics LaboratoryA Program in the Division of Genetics, Department of Pediatrics, University of California San Diego |
The UCSD Biochemical Genetics Laboratory
We offer quantitative analysis
of extended lists of biological compounds, and untargeted biomarker discovery.
These are commercial and research lab services.
Some of the targeted panels are formally
documented to be compliant for clinical testing,
and all of these methods are calibrated to
stringent criteria, available immediately for
research applications. See details
here.
We also work with the UCSD Biomolecular and Proteomic Mass Spectrometry Facility, and you may request simultaneous both metabolomic and proteomic analysis of samples.
Quantitative data from
individual datasets can be compared to reference
ranges, or groups can be compared against each
other. This is project, developed under Clarus Analytical, may
be useful for analysis of results, especially in
discovery mode work.
Data for either metabolomic or proteomic analysis, or both, can be projected on metabolic maps from
several sources.
